What we store, and why

We store account information and workspace data — such as conversations, messages, uploaded files, assistants, memories, tasks and settings — in the cloud to provide the service and keep your workspace in sync across devices. The app may also keep local settings, session information and cached files on your device.

Our infrastructure providers, including Supabase and Cloudflare, help us provide authentication, storage and hosting. They process information as needed to operate these services.

Basic analytics, not model training

We may use basic usage, performance and error information to understand which features are useful, troubleshoot problems and improve Vibe Space. We do not sell your personal data, use it for advertising, or use your conversations, files or other user data to train AI models.

Our hosting provider may process request and performance information, such as IP addresses, page load metrics and technical logs, to deliver, protect and improve the service.

AI services

We currently use OpenAI as our AI provider. When you request an AI response, we send the information needed for that request, which may include your message, relevant conversation history, assistant instructions, memories, attachments and context from connected services.

OpenAI’s processing and retention of that information are governed by its applicable terms and policies. See OpenAI’s privacy policy and its API data controls documentation. Our commitment not to train on your data describes our own use of it; provider practices should be checked in those documents.

If we add another AI provider, we will update this policy and notify users before introducing that change.

Optional connections

If you choose to connect services such as Google Workspace or Canvas, or use the browser extension, we process the content and access information needed for the features you enable. Relevant content may be included in an AI request. Connected services also have their own privacy policies.

Only connect services and share content you want to use with Vibe Space. Supported actions that change connected content are presented for your confirmation. Canvas access is read-only.

Your choices and data

You can manage conversations, memories and connected services through the app’s available controls. Uninstalling the desktop app or clearing its local cache does not delete your cloud account or workspace.

For questions or requests about your cloud data, including account deletion, contact the Vibe Space project organizer through the channel where you received access. We keep information as needed to provide the service; technical logs and backups may take additional time to expire.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page and notify users of significant changes, including changes to the AI providers we use.
